Konstanty Laszczka in 1934 made a large figure of Christ on the cross for St. Stephen's Church in Krakow, Sienkiewicza Street. The sculpture received a very positive response from the artistic community, and the presented plaque repeats the exact body arrangement and physiognomy of Christ from this church.
The work can be seen hanging on the wall in the artist's studio in a photograph from 1936.
